Rhubarb Saison – 6.2% FARMHOUSE is a dry, refreshing Belgian-style saison. It has tart fruitiness from local rhubarb, with hints of a spicy, tangy character as well as a touch of ginger. The ‘saison’ style is the original farmhouse ale – brewed on farms in Belgium for seasonal field workers who helped bring in the harvest. This beer is a modern interpretation of the style, with the addition of rhubarb gathered from across Linlithgow from members of a local grow-your-own group. Tart, fruity and delicious.
