Dark Lager – 4.6% 1921 is a crisp and tasty dark lager, based on an German style known as a ‘Munich Dunkel’. Munich dunkel is a traditional German style; dunkel means ‘dark’ in German, and it is brewed with a majority of munich-style malts. These malts, along with a mix of other caramel and dark malts, give a deep amber colour and complex flavour profile. This beer was brewed to celebrate the life of Russet O’Sullivan, who was born in 1921 and lived to the grand old age of 102.
