Doveflight by Mark Hearld explores recurring themes within the artist’s work: birds, wildlife and the natural world. Printed in two shades of blue on oyster linen union, the design was developed from a hand-carved linocut and retains the layered qualities of the original artwork. The repeating pattern draws upon Hearld’s long-standing interest in British flora and fauna and the decorative possibilities of printmaking.
