Light curtains are safety devices suitable for various types of machine tools and processing equipment. They are particularly useful where a physical barrier is not practicable. Light beams are emitted from the transmitter post in various patterns and distances apart in accordance with the protection required (ie Limb protection / body protection/ hand protection).
