The Esengo Grande is not made quickly — it is built outward from the centre, ring by ring, the sunburst pattern growing with each pass. At the heart sits a hand-cast brass mask: an old symbol, carried forward. This is what we mean when we say it carries a story. Not metaphor. Fact.
