La Higuera, a family business in the village of Almoharín, south-western Spain, crafts these delicate bonbons using locally grown Pajarero figs – a speciality of the Extremadura region. In these decadent sweet treats, each fig is stuffed with a rich truffle of chocolate and salted caramel, before being coated with milk chocolate.
