With its deep red hue and complex character, this elegant, full-bodied wine from the rich terroir of McLaren Vale, South Australia, blends fruity Shiraz and delicately floral Viognier grapes. A peppery undertone is mellowed by subtle oak and aromas of violets and dark chocolate. Apples, cinnamon and forest fruits dance on the palate. It’s calling out to be paired with hearty dishes, such as roast duck or lamb; served at a barbecue with chargrilled burgers and sticky ribs; or poured alongside a sharing platter of soft and hard cheeses.
