100% Lambswool Woven on the Isle of Skye Lambswool scarf inspired by the carvings on a Neolithic stone from Orkney, the Brodgar Stone. Each stripe has a subtly different geometric pattern, relating to the stone’s incised markings. We used a pointed twill weave to create the design. The pale orange-rust colours reference the natural ochre used to decorate some prehistoric stones. The original stone is displayed in the National Museum of Scotland .
