Figgy, delicate and full of juicy chunks of fruit, our Black Bursa Fig Preserve is a beautifully textured jam that's not overly sweet and absolutely delicious paired with cheese. We use Black Bursa figs: a large, juicy variety full of flavour and the only one we use for this preserve. We cook them carefully in small batches for the shortest time possible to keep that fresh fig character, then add a little sugar and lemon juice. Gold Taste of the West Award winner 2023. Excellent in a toastie, wonderful on toast, and rather good stirred into porridge on a chilly morning. Each jar contains 220g.
