The Alba yarn collection is exclusive to Sealy MacWheely and has been blended and spun specially to my specifications with a unique blend of top quality British bred fibres. Each colourway has been inspired by the landscape, language and folklore of the beautiful country of Scotland: Fairge [ farʲagʲə] (fa-rag-yeh) is one of the Scottish Gaelic words for Sea, predominantly used on the isle of Islay. Elsewhere in the Gàidhealtachd this term defines a more turbulent ocean and it's more common to see the word muir instead, particularly in its genitive form in house names such as taigh-na-mara mea
