A Project with Rachel Hutchinson The name comes (shamelessly) from Kubrick. Standing upright in its Richlite and oak stand, the board has something of that quality: monumental for its size, quietly purposeful, impossible to ignore. Bashing it with femurs is optional. Rachel Hutchinson is a furniture designer and multi-disciplinary maker based in Wiltshire, working at the intersection of digital craft and fine hand-finishing. Her platters are made from reclaimed British FSC oak, shaped through a series of concentric arcs that give the board its distinctive character: a generous well at one end
