Workshop Overview If you are considering how to recreate historical baskets or to make the design of a basket original, then this workshop may be just what you need. Alternatively, if you are considering taking on a formal qualification in basketry, such as the City and Guilds, you may wish to have a ‘head start’ on the design element of the program. We will look at colour theory, texture, shape and form and apply them to the design of baskets. We will also look at how you make use of this information to create job sheets including materials needed, time and how this is costed. Schedule Day 1
