This parting tool has a flute running along the bottom edge, creating two sharp spurs at the cutting face. These sever the fibres to produce a burnished finish. The tapered profile also reduces the risk of binding in the cut. GENERAL CARE We recommend applying a light oil to the blades when not in use to keep them in perfect condition.
