Produced in approximately 1810 by Flight and Barr, a continuation of the original Worcester factory, this brightly restrained saucer is a beautiful example of the popular Neoclassical Regency style. With a bright ground colour and restrained and elegant gilding, the style was a balance of a beautiful oxymoron, bold yet dainty. The delicate strawberry illustrations were an incredibly popular design feature that stood for the feminine values of spring and righteous love, perfect for a tea service.
