Product Info The Avenger modelled was first registered on 15th February 1973, by Phil Read Ltd, Borough Garage, St Marychurch Road, Plainmoor, Torquay. They were then a Chrysler main dealer and had been trading in the area since before the Second World War when they represented Thornycroft commercial vehicles. The first owner, Mr T. A. Elliot, paid £1,453.27 for the car, which included £11.50 for seatbelts and £4.50 for number plates, both of which were legal requirements.
