As the standard ECU housing in the front wheel arch is only large enough for the standard ECU, it is impossible to house upgraded components effectively. When upgrading to Syvecs management, the standard plastic housing will not accommodate the hardware resulting in a standard ECU box being modified to try and fit the larger module. Water and dirt ingress is highly undesirable, as it will very quickly cause corrosion and most likely lead to poor electrical contact.
