Batt Wash (Zircon based). A multi-purpose refractory wash for painting onto kiln shelves to reduce the risk of pots sticking to the shelves. Instructions for Use: This blended material is dispersed in water to produce a thin slip of cream-like consistency. Mix the batt wash adding it into water and creating a single cream consistency. A thin layer of this is then painted by brush, or roller. it is best for the first use to apply 3 consistent coats allowing time between each for them to dry fully before applying further layers.
