The high alkaline metal content makes this frit incredibly soft and fluid with a high thermal expansion and ideal for use in Crackle Raku glazes. The size of the crackle can be modified by additions of the P2953 standard borax frit. The higher the addition of P2953 frit the smaller the crackle achieved.
