This frit can be used as a substitute for Gerstley Borate or Colemanite in special effect glazes recipes and also as a constituent in Matt earthenware glazes. It can also produce a raku glaze if mixed equal parts with P2962 High Alkali frit. Technical Information: Expansion: 6.1x10-6/°C. Firing Range: 1050 - 1160°C. SiO2: 17.9% B2O3: 50.3% MgO: 0.1% Al2O3: 4.9% K2O: 0.3% CaO: 26.5%
