This metal and rubber damper isolates your NEMA 17 stepper motor from whatever it's connected to, reducing vibrations (mechanical and auditory) to make your project quieter and more mechanically sound. Please note: this damper is only for the NEMA 17 stepper motors, and not for the NEMA 14 or NEMA 23 stepper motors.
