The 12th in Penderyn’s Icons Of Wales Edition whiskies is called Copperopolis. Swansea became known as Copperopolis because from 1720, 50% of the world s copper and 90% of the UK s copper was smelted in the area. Penderyn s new distillery is in the Powerhouse of the old Swansea copperworks building. This 70cl bottle has an abv of 46% and matured in Sweet Red Wine Finish. Tasting Notes Nose: Floral and fruity.
