This Buddhist lanyard features a colourful design inspired by the international Buddhist flag, incorporating its distinctive blue, yellow, red, white and orange bands alongside representations of the Dharma Wheel. The modern Buddhist flag was created in Sri Lanka in the late 19th century and was first publicly displayed in Colombo in 1885, becoming an internationally recognised symbol of Buddhism during the following decades.
