The Humber Sceptre was a car produced by Humber (Rootes Group) between 1963 and 1976 and came as a four-door saloon or four-door estate car. The Mk 1 was a luxury car based on the Hillman Super Minx, sitting at the top of the Rootes Group mid range of cars. It featured twin headlight styling and a powerful 80 bhp engine. The high level of equipment included front disc brakes, overdrive, screen washers, reversing lamp, rev counter and a full range of instruments . Automatic transmission was made available later.
