The Cadillac Miller-Meteor Sentinel Ambulance was a combination ambulance/hearse based on a Cadillac commercial chassis but it is more likely to be remembered for its association as the Ecto-1 drive of the Ghostbusters of American movie fame. In real life, its size and length was just right for when doubling up as a hearse – a bit unnerving! The ambulance featured enormous tail fins, a powerful 6.3L V8i engine and was converted by Miller-Meteor. It had a high roofline and an opening back/rear loading facility.
