The myenergi eddi diverts your surplus solar or wind generation to an immersion heater, storage heater or underfloor heating instead of letting it export to the grid for a few pence a unit. It reads generation and household demand multiple times a second and adjusts output in real time, so free electricity heats your water rather than feeding the grid.
