Colour designed by Jinny Blom. A rich deep midnight blue like the sudden flash of a starling wing in flight. The colour was first inspired by the great murmuration's above the rooftops of Rome. Then by the history of cobalt glass that was ground into smalt- a pigment used to fuse the deep blue colour onto old wrought iron gates. This deep rich blue is essential in the colour lexicon we use. An excellent estate colour for gates and doors and accents on outbuildings. Recommended Preparation: Use Dark Grey Primer Undercoat before painting walls with topcoat.
