UK trombonist Morgan Bland has been the recipient of several awards including the Special Prize for Trombone and the PBP Institute Prize at the Positively Brass and Percussion Symposium at the Hochschule Fur Musik in Trossingen, and was named British Trombone Society Student of the Year in 2023. Morgan made the live rounds for the BBC Young Musician 2024. In summer 2026, Morgan finished sixth form at Wells Cathedral School and elected to study at the Royal College of Music. Morgan began playing the trombone aged six in brass bands in Leicestershire before starting lessons with Kevin Dye. After
