Dutch jazz trombonist Maarten Combrink is the solo-trombonist of the renowned Metropole Orkest. He gained recognition as a soloist after winning the ITA JJ Johnson and Carl Fontana jazz trombone competitions in the USA. Maarten regularly performs with the Jasper Blom Bigband, Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, All Ellington, Peter Beets New Jazz Orchestra, Dutch Swing College Band and Gerardo Rosales.
