Wheel-thrown coffee or tea cup/mug. Made with red clay and decorated using the "hakeme" brush technique, where a stiff brush is used to apply clay slip (same colour clay in this case) directly to the mug surface. This technique gives a truly unique rustic surface that it is highlighted by the white glaze used to finish the piece. The round unglazed marks that appear at the bottom of the mug are where my fingers where positioned while glazing the mug. They are not an imperfection, they are visible on purpose because they tell a story ;) I also stock espresso cups using the same technique. One o
