This heavily spotted yellow brick slip is typical of central London terraces and clamp fired London yellow stock bricks found all over the Thames region. Brick Slip Fact Yellow bricks are typically found in and around the southeast of England. The yellow colour will appear when various oxides and other content in the clay combine into yellow minerals. The Thames basin clay has the right yellow forming content naturally. Yellow brick slips can be manufactured without using brickearth but only a few companies in the UK know how.
