Fine Ashlar Pointing mortars, will fill joints horizontally, vertically and overhead without slumping. Joints as fine as 1.45mm wide and as deep 150mm plus a further 10-20mm for back pressure, can be successfully filled. Bring the mortar out to the final finished plane of the masonry, leave a small bead above the finished plane, strike off when firm, usually the following day. Mix 1Kg of MMFAP with 330ml of clean potable water, mix at high speed for not less than 1.5 minutes with a recommended mixing paddle. Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes and remix for a further 1 minute before using. 3 Fine
