The cherry blossom egg is one of six handmade decorative easter eggs that make up the Spring Garden Collection. The collection was inspired by Springtime, the season of rebirth and renewed hope. Each carefully selected flowers’ meaning is listed below. The eggs are handmade from reclaimed, local beech by myself. Beech trees are associated with creativity and wisdom and then illustrated by hand using india ink. cherry blossom symbolises rejuvenation, beauty and strength daffodils – new beginnings tulips – love crocus joy and renewal iris – faith, hope and wisdom freesia – innocence and thoughtf
