They say Egremont Russet is the Chardonnay of the apple world, and it's hard to deny its vinous qualities. So much so, we've long joked about making an English Chablis - Chablis de Mercia in fact! And here we are from the stunning 2022 harvest. Pale lemon in the glass with a gorgeously fragrant nose of jasmine blossom, honey and sugared almonds, the opulence and purity of the vintage is truly dazzling. Super succulent fruit around a core of fine, ripe acid. White peach, melon rind, anise and crystalised lemon peel with a sweet floral perfume running through it from beginning to end. Match this
