The tumbler shape is a variation of a rectangle and is often used to great effect in antique Scrap-Quilts with their classic combination of light and dark fabrics. These 'simple' tumblers (on this page) tesselate only with themselves - meaning: They do not fit with any of our other shapes to form patterns.
