Corriethread is a blend of 85% natural ecru Corriedale wool and 15% reclaimed yarn waste in a versatile DK weight. We collect all of our dyed yarn waste from the factory, shred it and blend it with natural ecru wool. This results in a steely grey yarn with distinctive darker flecks for a textured tweed-like appearance. And whilst this medium-tone base proved unsuitable for our hand dyers, it crafts beautiful handknit homewares, garments and accessories.
