A natural oval of 1.71 carats, graded G colour and VVS1 clarity. G is near-colourless, showing no tint in a finished setting, and VVS1 means very very slightly included under ten times magnification. An oval spreads its weight along the finger, so it reads larger than a round of the same carat while keeping brilliant-cut fire. It measures 9.33 x 6.93 x 4.25 mm, with a table of 65.0% and a total depth of 61.3%. Polish and symmetry are both excellent, the girdle is medium, the culet none, and it shows no fluorescence.
