This beanie is a lighter weight version of my Print o the Wave beanie - originally created in sport/light DK weight yarn. Shetland lace knitting has recently been named as an endangered craft by the Crafts Council so this was designed for those who wished to try a smaller scale lace project in a traditional craft skill. A little concentration is required on a couple of the rows as the start of round marker moves to allow the lace pattern to stay correct.
