The curled cowl is extremely warm and easy to wear. The inspiration for these colours came from a photograph of the northern lights commonly seen in Shetland during the long winter nights. Suggested Spindrift colours are: 123 Oxford , 272 Fog , 478 Amber , 1140 Granny Smith , 320 Steel , 726 Prussian Blue , 610 Purple , 581 Peony , Size can be altered by adding or removing a repeat. Terri knits these using a traditional Shetland knitting belt, however a circular needle would work perfectly, or any other preferred method that allows you to knit in the round can be used.
