Andhrímnir's Butchers Knife Andhrimnir's Butchers Knife has been beautifully hand forged using carbon steel to achieve the iconic shape associated with this style of knife, according to finds throughout Viking Age Scandinavia and Britain. The tang has been drawn out and bent back on itself to create a sturdy integral handle, which had been wrapped in leather for added grip. The end of the handle has been curled back to create a finger guard.
