All hail the king of cord. This hefty overshirt is no lightweight. Rich navy that catches the light like the glinting waves of the sea. Clean design bursting with functionality. Enormous side seam and inside “bag for life” pockets. Designed on our Calderdale cutting table. Cut and sewn for us in North London. There is debate about the origins of the word “corduroy”. Some argue that it comes from the French term “corde du roi” cloth of the king while others protest that its true roots lie on our side of the channel in 18th century British textiles.
