The Acacia pravissima , better known as the Ovens Wattle or Wedge-leaved Wattle , is one of the most graceful of all the wattles and one of the hardier too. Native to the mountains of south east Australia, it forms an elegant evergreen shrub with arching, weeping branches densely set with tiny triangular grey-green phyllodes, wreathed in late winter and early spring with masses of fragrant golden pompom flowers.
