A beautifully preserved pair of circular Victorian footstools , each topped with a richly worked panel of tiny glass beads in soft whites and greys, set against a deep red needlepoint background . The floral bead‑work is wonderfully detailed, catching the light with a gentle shimmer , a quiet testament to the patience and artistry of the women who once stitched them.
