This charming pair of Mary Gregory‑inspired cobalt‑blue glass vases blends Victorian nostalgia with Art Nouveau elegance . Mary Gregory (1856–1940) was an American glass decorator who worked for the Boston Sandwich Glass Company in Massachusetts during the late nineteenth century. Her specialty was white enamel painting on coloured glass , often depicting children in Victorian dress playing with hoops, nets, or baskets. Emulating her popular style, turn‑of‑the‑century Bohemian factories (in what is now the Czech Republic) began producing similar enamelled glass for export to Britain and Americ
