A rare diminutive repoussé copper jug, hand‑hammered with a stylised Levantine floral band above a wonderfully lively pastoral frieze. Horsemen, shepherds, and their animals circle the body in a continuous narrative scene, an unusual and expressive feature in Middle‑Eastern metalwork. Each figure is enriched with fine chased detail: the textured hair along the animals’ necks and bellies, the folds of clothing, and the etched ground beneath their feet.
