The T2 series is a range of components which produces 42, 52, 62, 72 and 84mm cores suitable for medium to hard geology. These core barrels have a relatively small cutting area and therefore permit rapid penetration, especially in harder rock formations. Also the thin wall barrels and core bits produce fewer cuttings which permits the use of lower flush velocities resulting in diminished sample disturbance. Water or polymer flush is required.
