This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old. This model kit is of carriages 9 and 10, as running on the Talyllyn Railway in the early 2000s. These were amongst the first bogie coaches to work on the preserved railway, originally built as open and semi-open vehicles in 1954 by W.G. Allen. They were later updated to their current bodies by Raymond Tisdale and Co in 1967/8. Carriage 9 was originally the full open, but is now a fully enclosed Third Class vehicle.
