This model kit is of a freelance tramway diesel locomotive, heavily inspired by the 0-6-0DM locomotives built for the Colonial Sugar Refining Company (Australia) to work the Labasa Sugar Mill in Fiji. These machines were built to a large loading gauge, and stood over 10 feet above the rail. To make the model in proportion to our other Little Trams, we have dropped the cab footplate and given the cab are more typical UK profile. To allow for tramway running, the motion is hidden behind a skirt, à la the Wisbech Class 03s. The kit is a bit of a hybrid, as we have struggled to find more accurate
