This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old. This Andrew Barclay Sons 0-4-2ST is heavily inspired by the locomotive 'Chevalier' built for the Campbeltown and Machrihanish Light Railway in 1883. The original form of this model is already available, with its distinctive open back cab. Later in its life, the locomotive did receive a closed cab, but this was an engineering 'bodge' using components from a Kerr Stuart Skylark class 'Princess'.
