This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old. In 1927, Kerr, Stuart Co built an elarged 'Matary' class locomotive for the Antiga Sugar Company. This massive 0-6-2T was built to 2'6" gauge, with an enlarged Huxley boiler to burn oil and later bagasse. After many years work in the West Indies, a trustee of the Welshpool and Llanfair railway found the locomotive and brought it back to the UK, entering service in Wales in 1977. In the most recent overhaul, Joan has received a new boiler with shorter firebox, and an outside-framed rear ponytruck. The
