This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old. This model kit is of carriages 101 and 103, as running on the Ffestiniog Railway prior in the early 1970s. Both carriages were originally constructed at Boston Lodge in 1968 as part of the Centenary Stock series of vehicles, also known as 'The Barns'. Since the railway would no longer traverse the old Moelwyn Tunnel, vehicles could be built to a slightly larger loading gauge. These were modern vehicles for the time, and took design cues from Lynton and Barnstable Carriage 14, that had been modified to
